Need somewhere to stay over the summer vacation? Unfortunately the majority of properties listed on this site are not available for a three month let (although by all means try the “less than 6 months” option when doing a property search). Therefore you will probably have to be a little more innovative.
The best option is to look at finding a room for the summer. You can do this using our flat share system. Other alternatives include:
- approaching university halls of residences who often are looking to fill their accommodation whilst students are on holiday;
- asking around your mates, as the chances are, that at least one of them have been forced to rent a house over the summer and will not be using it. They should be very happy to receive a contribution towards the rent;
- finding a family to live with for a bit.
As always, contacting your universitity's accommodation office would be a good idea as they should have plenty of suggestions.
